I was up packing till about 3am, showered, and got a good few hours in of rest before the big day. We left the house around 7h30am ( sorry mom) we were supposed to hit the road by 7hooam ....oops. My bad. Confusion of course was a packaged deal with O'haire International Airport. Fortunately enough for us, my flight didn't take off till 1h50 and it was only 11. After we got everything straightened out and discovered that even though I was flying over-seas, my flight was still considered to be a domestic flight- go figure. Mom and I enjoyed a delicious cup of american-brewed starbucks coffee before I took flight. Spending time with mom is always great, and it's just getting harder and harder to say goodbye to her. I am so excited for this trip, but I couldn't help but start to tear-up when we were saying goodbye. I feel guilty for going alone, because of all people who deserve this trip, it's mom. I'm going to miss everyone back home!
